- I'm a good natured ole lady with bad knees, a happy smile, and a big middle. I love people, in general, and babies & children in particular. I enjoy doing things that will help others. I loved teaching very much. I taught for 41 years. I have always delighted in watching an airplane fly overhead. One of my great desires has been to fly in one of the fighters: one of the fast, swing-wings or Navy Tomcats...or perhaps the Space Shuttle. I love riding horses, but nowadays have to settle for watching other do it...the thrill's still there! A dog is my favorite pet; having a pet has always been important to me.
